Uninstall

Follow the steps below if you wish to uninstall the GrumpyGoats Toolbar.

For Applications

  1. Click on the Start Menu button
  2. If you are using classic Start Menu select Settings option, if not skip this step
  3. Click on the Control Panel option
  4. Start Add/Remove Programs applet :
    - (Windows 2000/XP) Double click on “Add/Remove Programs” icon
    - (Windows Vista, Windows 7) Double click on “Programs and Features”
  5. Review the software list and select the specific software that you installed and want to remove.
  6. Uninstall Program:
    - (Windows 2000/XP) Click on Remove button
    - (Windows Vista+) Click on Uninstall button
  7. Follow the uninstall directions to complete the uninstall process.
  8. Repeat for any additional software.

For Browser Toolbars, Extensions, and Plug-Ins
For Google Chrome:

  1. Click the “Wrench” icon in the top right of your browser window.
  2. Click the Settings option.
  3. Click the Extensions tab on the left.
  4. Click the “Remove” button to the right of the toolbar or extension you want to uninstall.
  5. Follow any instructions if an uninstallation dialog box appears (varies by toolbar or extension).
  6. Some extensions require that you restart your browser for the uninstallation to complete.
  7. Click the “x” on the “Settings – Extensions” tab at the top of the browser window to complete the process.

For Firefox:

  1. Click on the orange “Firefox” button in the top left of your browser window.
  2. Click on the “Add-Ons” Option.
  3. Click on the “Extensions” or “Plug Ins” tabs to the left.
  4. Click “Remove” or “Disable” for the toolbar, extension, or plug-in you wish to uninstall.
  5. Follow any instructions if an uninstallation dialog box appears (varies by toolbar or extension).
  6. Some extensions require that you restart your browser for the uninstallation to complete.
  7. Click on the “X” on the “Add-ons” tab to complete the process.

For Internet Explorer:

  1. Click on the “Gear” icon near the top right of your browser window.
  2. Click the “Manage add-ons” item.
  3. Click on the “Toolbars and Extensions” option under “Add-on Types” in the “Manage Add-ons” window.
  4. Select the toolbar or extension you wish to uninstall.
  5. Click the “Disable” or “Uninstall” button near the bottom right of the “Manage Add-ons” window.
  6. Follow any instructions if an uninstallation dialog box appears (varies by toolbar or extension).
  7. Some extensions require that you restart your browser for the uninstallation to complete.
  8. Click the close-window button marked “X” at the top right of the “Manage Add-ons” window.
