Follow the steps below if you wish to uninstall the GrumpyGoats Toolbar.
For Applications
- Click on the Start Menu button
- If you are using classic Start Menu select Settings option, if not skip this step
- Click on the Control Panel option
- Start Add/Remove Programs applet :
- (Windows 2000/XP) Double click on “Add/Remove Programs” icon
- (Windows Vista, Windows 7) Double click on “Programs and Features” - Review the software list and select the specific software that you installed and want to remove.
- Uninstall Program:
- (Windows 2000/XP) Click on Remove button
- (Windows Vista+) Click on Uninstall button - Follow the uninstall directions to complete the uninstall process.
- Repeat for any additional software.
For Browser Toolbars, Extensions, and Plug-Ins
For Google Chrome:
- Click the “Wrench” icon in the top right of your browser window.
- Click the Settings option.
- Click the Extensions tab on the left.
- Click the “Remove” button to the right of the toolbar or extension you want to uninstall.
- Follow any instructions if an uninstallation dialog box appears (varies by toolbar or extension).
- Some extensions require that you restart your browser for the uninstallation to complete.
- Click the “x” on the “Settings – Extensions” tab at the top of the browser window to complete the process.
For Firefox:
- Click on the orange “Firefox” button in the top left of your browser window.
- Click on the “Add-Ons” Option.
- Click on the “Extensions” or “Plug Ins” tabs to the left.
- Click “Remove” or “Disable” for the toolbar, extension, or plug-in you wish to uninstall.
- Follow any instructions if an uninstallation dialog box appears (varies by toolbar or extension).
- Some extensions require that you restart your browser for the uninstallation to complete.
- Click on the “X” on the “Add-ons” tab to complete the process.
For Internet Explorer:
- Click on the “Gear” icon near the top right of your browser window.
- Click the “Manage add-ons” item.
- Click on the “Toolbars and Extensions” option under “Add-on Types” in the “Manage Add-ons” window.
- Select the toolbar or extension you wish to uninstall.
- Click the “Disable” or “Uninstall” button near the bottom right of the “Manage Add-ons” window.
- Follow any instructions if an uninstallation dialog box appears (varies by toolbar or extension).
- Some extensions require that you restart your browser for the uninstallation to complete.
- Click the close-window button marked “X” at the top right of the “Manage Add-ons” window.
